Simon Halberstam was admitted in 1988, became a specialist IT Lawyer in 1991, and and focuses exclusively on Intellectual Property and IT/e-commerce law.

He specialises in all aspects of contractual and litigation matters relating to  IP, IT and e-commerce, acting not only for IT clients such as software houses, ISPs, Domain Name registrants and web designers, but also for many corporate and general business clients who need specialist assistance in this particular field. 

Simon provides legal advice to both the  IBM Computer Users’ Association and Socitm.

His expertise covers the whole range of  Intellectual Property, IT and e-commerce law services to include in-house training and  legal audits.

Simon is a joint author of Tolley’s recently published “Domain Names – A Practical Guide” and was the author of two major publications on the legal implications of the Year 2000.

Simon speaks fluent French, German and Italian, and has a Masters in French Law (Sorbonne – France).
